Highly sought-after Receptionist position with a prominent Private Equity firm. You will be the first impression of the firm, greeting visitors and managing front desk reception responsibilities with care and professionalism. In addition to front desk reception duties, the role also performs assorted administrative tasks and projects.   • Greet all visitors and ensure they are settled in the appropriate office or meeting space; communicate with the executive assistants and business partners to ensure smooth meetings; offer refreshments
  • Cover phone calls to the front desk; serve as back up call coverage for all other Partners; calls to executives should not go to voicemail during business hours
  • Ensure there is back up coverage for the front desk during lunch, vacations, or other special projects that take you away from the reception area; the reception will always be covered between 8:00am and 5:00pm
  • Perform varied and at times complex and confidential administrative duties under limited supervision
  • Be an integral member of the team; assist your peers; proactively pitch in to help colleagues whenever possible
  • Maintain a positive attitude with all business partners; show initiative and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Develop methods for staying organized to work as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Proactively help entire team with filing and organizing both electronic and hard copy documents
  • Order office supplies and kitchen supplies (including restocking food)
  • Proof reports, presentations, agreements, etc. as needed


  • At least 2 years of experience in a corporate support function; prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor, refined interpersonal skills, and a strong service orientation
  • Must be comfortable working with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast paced, high output, ambitious culture
  • Ability to seamlessly manage multiple tasks with potentially shifting priorities
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Highest level of integrity; demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters at all times
  • Four- year college degree preferred
