Location: Gold Coast; Industry: Private Equity

Executive Assistant to the CEO of a Chicago-based private equity firm, located in the Gold Coast. This is a unique opportunity to have a front-row seat to pulse of the organization as well as manage the CEO’s philanthropic endeavors with some of Chicago’s greatest non-profits.

This is a challenging role that requires a professional who is proactive, confident, and has a deep understanding of the financial industry. Act as confidante and partner to the CEO, as well as a trusted resource and liaison to the internal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining complex professional and personal calendars by prioritizing meetings, meeting requests, events and calls
  • Arranging and coordinating complex and frequently changing travel and logistics for domestic and international flights; book private travel
  • Assist with personal work (artwork, investments, etc.)
  • Organizing, allocating and submitting multiple complex expense reports using Concur
  • Drafting correspondences and thank you letters
  • Arranging ground transportation for meetings, travel and events
  • Assist in coordinating events, such as advisory board meetings and annual investors meeting

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of executive assistant experience
  • College degree
  • Private jet booking experience preferred
  • Expense reporting software Concur
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills verbally and in written correspondence
  • A proactive personality with excellent anticipation and problem-solving skills
  • An ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
