Administrative Assistant
Rapidly growing investment firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. You will provide a high level of professional support as you manage the workflow of the office and balance administrative responsibilities, project/business initiatives and ad hoc projects. Responsibilities
- Support team of professionals and act as gatekeeper to manage them through their day
- Heavy calendar management, schedule meetings, conferences, etc.
- Provide phone coverage – heavy interaction with internal & external business associates
- Coordinate travel arrangements, international and domestic
- Manage monthly expense reporting
- Scanning, filing and organizing various documents
- Act as co-office manager (liaise with vendors and building management, order supplies, general office upkeep)
- Assist with ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- 5 – 10 years administrative experience in a corporate environment; financial services preferred
- BA/BS degree preferred with solid academic performance
- Resourceful
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and be part of a team
- Detail oriented and proactive with a track record of success
- Ability to multi-task in a fast- paced environment
- Easy to get along with and has a positive, flexible attitude toward work/requests
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products
