RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides administrative and project support to senior leadership including other corporate and project management staff as required
  • Provides administrative support and coordinates the preparation of draft agendas, hand -out materials, and schedules for all group meetings
  • Manages the calendars of senior leadership, independently resolving scheduling conflicts with internal and external clients and assists with scheduling interviews
  • Assists with employee on-boarding and works to continuously improve this experience for new hires
  • Assists with training and development and recruiting initiatives
  • Proactively identifies areas to enhance the organization and employee experience
  • Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promotes a high level of employee morale and motivation
  • Assists with HR-related education/training, communication and awareness efforts. Supports implementation and training for new HR programs, policies, and initiatives
  • Manages activities for senior leadership relating to participation in outside boards and civic organizations
  • Assists and coordinates topics for company-wide meetings as well as creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting in conveying companywide communication
  • Provides organizational support for internal philanthropy chairs on external communication, budget planning, and meeting assistance
  • Manages Lunch and Learn program including assisting in setting annual schedule and providing videoconferencing support
  • Coordinates purchase and delivery of items related to employee engagement

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required plus 3+ years of experience supporting Human Resources, or an Executive Team is strongly preferred with related professional certifications a plus
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), and PDF is a must
  • Experience in Power BI, data visualization software, ATS, and LinkedIn Recruiter is strongly desired
  • Experience in task management software (Asana, Trello, Teams, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Creative and advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer prior experience to new situations
  • Strong project management skills are required while handling matters expeditiously and proactively all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high quality of work, often with deadline pressures
  • Must be a self-starter that is professional, reliable, responsive, and ahead of needs
  • Must be able to provide a bridge for smooth communication between departments while demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff
  • Must be a highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to be extremely effective independently
