HR Coordinator, Chicago, IL (On-site) Temporary

Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day administrative support to the VP of Talent Acquisition, including various administrative processes.
- Manage calendars, schedule interviews, and coordinate meetings for candidates, employees, and HR leadership.
- Follow up on all meetings, tracking results, and next steps within the process.
- Assist with new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and maintaining accurate HR files.
- Support HR projects and initiatives with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Act as a point of contact for routine HR inquiries, ensuring employees receive timely assistance.
- Coordinates background screening requirements for new employees and, as client needs arise.
- Coordinates new employee orientations and other HR training programs as applicable.
- Performs customer service functions by answering requests and questions.
- Draft offer letters and subcontractor onboarding documents.
- Make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a related Human Resources role in a professional services firm.
- Internship or professional work experience in a Human Resources role.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Up to $25 per hour (based on experience)
